dual-band GSM (900/1800, EGSM) device that will be sold in the Asian
and Pacific markets.

3530 is distinguished by its 96 x 65 pixel display with 12-bit color
depth (4096 colors), but it also supports MMS 1.0,
allowing
users and developers to create, send, and forward messages in color.
Support for class 4 GPRS connectivity (3 + 1) enhances the user
experience by reducing download time where available network
infrastructure supports such connections. Content creation
professionals will appreciate Nokia Developer Suite for MMS, a
downloadable extension to the leading-edge content authoring tool,
Adobe GoLive 6.
Nokia
3530 supports MIDP Java 1.0. The device ships with a few Java games
pre-installed to introduce users to game playing on their phones.
Nokia Developer's Suite for the Java™ 2 Platform, Micro Edition is
available for no-cost download, and can be integrated with popular
IDE products.
Nokia
3530 mobile phone includes a WAP 1.2.1 browser which works with CSD
and GPRS bearers. Developers should note that Nokia Mobile Internet
Toolkit 3.1 is a complete browsing development environment is also
available for a no-cost download. The Toolkit includes a server
simulator based on Nokia Activ Server, in case a WAP gateway is
unavailable during development.
